There are really too many pictures to post. but all in all, it was GREAT! We are all so proud of him! His medal is for graduating with a "scholastic diploma" and the silver cord represents "with honors" sometimes I wonder how he did it cause he really didn't do a whole lot of homework, especially the last two years! Imagine what he could have done had he worked hard at it!

before graduation....
they were expecting over 4000 people as there were about 486 graduates. thus, we went early to get a decent seat so here we are
waiting....for graduation
still waiting for it to start.....
is it time yet?
When they started playing pomp and circumstance as they started marching in, it kindof took my breath away realizing I had a graduate. I have to admit, a little tear came to my eye for just a second but was quickly replaced with great excitement!
ohhhhh! here he comes!!!!!
such a handsome boy!
The first High school graduate from our family....
and also the one who will be last.....
is it time yet?
ohhhhh! here he comes!!!!!
The weather cooperated nicely! Whew! We were expecting really hot weather and then a few days before the forecast changed to chance of rain and lower temperatures.... the sky's were overcast and there was a nice breeze blowing, sometimes the breeze was too hard as they had to lay some of the decorative flags down. But it made it nice and cool. It did however rain after they started awarding the diplomas and continued for about 10 minutes. There were about 3 minutes where it was raining a bit hard but it tapered off. He was one of the last called because they started from A and Z and worked their way to the middle of the alphabet, therefore K being in the middle, well, yes, back row and almost last. oh well, adds to the memories!!
Right after he received his diploma!
