Yesterday we tried to get Shannon's license but the DMV system was down state wide. She was NOT happy! she thought she was going to DIE to have to wait ANOTHER 24 hours! She was so upset, I wouldn't let her drive home, I didn't want to get in an accident.....ok, I was teaching her a lesson that we need to control our emotions and if they are too intense we really shouldn't drive. anyway. I picked her up after school today and we went straight to DMV. She was very nervous but did a great job and passed with flying colors. I almost didn't let her drive home because she was so EXCITED and couldn't calm down! Silly girl! 
Spencer just sent her on her first SOLO errand to JC Penny. She is a bit nervous but I'm sure she will do fine.

She just called to tell me she got there safely.....whew! Wow, it's so weird how fast they are growing up...sniff sniff....ha ha just kidding!! yippee!! It is so exciting to see them pass major milestones.

Yay Shan! Just be careful out there. As Grandpa Duke used to say, "Drive like everyone else is either drunk or crazy." Love you guys!
I remember my first drive! I can't believe how fast everything is going! I miss you guys we all need to have a little get together again sometime :)
