Spencer had a week off from work (company wide, no pay, mandatory) so he spent his time doing some projects around the house. One of the projects he worked on (that took most of his time) is a table and 2 chairs I got from our neighbors up the street trash pile.
It was very rickety so he took the table apart and re-glued joints as well as the chairs. Then he put putty in some places then sanded and painted them. He wanted a neutral color and he got out voted by Brad, Jenna and I who chose RED!!
It looks soooooo great!

I'm so glad I'm married to someone who can fix things! Another project he worked on was keeping cats out of our garden. They were using it for a litter box YULK!!

wow your garden and that chair set are nice. Great job. I hope Spencers job is ok.
Like the chair set. If you want, you can sandpaper it along the edges to get that 'distressed' look. I love it. That's how I did the boys' dresser.
My squash are doing well too--your garden looks great. And, so do the table and chairs. One mans junk is another mans treasure--love it!
